Why I became a doctor/radiologist

I was a good student of the sciences as a young man and was influenced greatly by my family physician who was a caring man who practiced into his eighties. I chose radiology due to the intellectual challenge that presents with every case. The high-tech part of the job is also stimulating, and today’s practice of radiology still allows for significant direct patient contact.
