Ultrasound Technologist

Office Location: Williamsville, NY
Status: Full Time
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:

 Key Functions include, but are not limited to:

1. Patient Care: Professional, positive and caring attitude throughout entire patient encounter; work with and assist a wide range of individuals in a variety of situations.

2. Examination: Perform requested exams according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) standards in an accurate and timely manner and as outlined in Ultrasound Department Policy & Procedural Manual.

Qualifications:

1. ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)

2. Ability to communicate productively orally and in the written form

3. Maintain good relations with co-workers and other organizational departments

4. Able to stand on feet for an extended period of time

Working Conditions:

Works in fast-paced, clean, air conditioned, properly lit environment

Equipment Used:

Philips Ultrasound Systems and associated equipment, Film Laser Processor, Computer terminal and printer (PACS and MedFax RIS Systems), photocopy machine, fax machine, telephone (including paging system)
