Team Windsong Raises $5,000.00 for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

The team from Windsong Radiology Group embarked upon Delaware Park on Saturday (6/12/2010) with a large contingent for the 10th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.  It wasn’t difficult to spot the Windsong team adorned in their black and white stripped referee jerseys stationed in the Survivors Tent and at the WGRZ Channel 2 booth handing out tote bags and reusable water bottles.  Then team then shifted gears to participate in the walk/run portion of the event as one big enthusiastic team.

What is evident was not only the passion and the fun the team had with their respective families also participating on this sunny Saturday morning, but the amount of funds that were raised and presented with an oversized ceremonial check.  The Windsong team raised $5,000.00 that was collected exclusively from within Windsong Radiology Group team (employees) throughout the year.  There were numerous bake sales, jeans days, lottery trees, Chinese auctions, and other creative events to raise money and build team spirit in preparation for the actual race.  Windsong Radiology Group congratulates the Western New York Susan G. Komen organization, and all of those that helped make this wonderful Buffalo event such as success.
