Janet Sung, MD to Speak At U.B. Womens Symposium

The Windsong Radiology Group (WRG) is proud to announce that Janet H. Sung, M.D. has been asked to speak at the 2006 University at Buffalo Symposium on Women’s Health on Saturday September 30th.

The educational program is geared towards Physicians as well as medical and nursing students. It is slated to provide educational information for immediate application critical to the management of breast cancer as well as other related health subjects. The University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Dr. Sung, President and founder of the WRG, will address the medical audience with “Breast Cancer – Mammography and Life-Time Follow-Up.” She will be joined in panel discussions of womens health issues by Stephen Edge, MD from Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Mirjana Lovrincevic, MD from UB, Fred Howard, MD from the University at Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Camran Nezhat, MD from the Stanford University School of Medicine, Brian Weidner, Esq. from Brown and Tarantino LLC, Ralph Morgan Richart, MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Lee Guterman, MD from Buffalo Neurosurgery Group. John Yeh, MD and Ronald Batt, MD are the Conference Directors.

Windsong is responsible for the employment of nearly 200 employees, and serves roughly 300,000 patients per year with the latest in technology including PET/CT, MRI, CT, Digital Mammography, Ultrasound, traditional X-Ray and Dexa scanning. A little more than half of those procedures are related to womens imaging.
