Windsong Radiology Group is Making Strides against Breast Cancer

Windsong Radiology Group is proud to announce its efforts to support Breast Cancer awareness, research and early detection. Throughout the year, several events were held to raise monies and awareness as well as to support women’s yearly mammography. Events include employee denim days, bake sales, raffles and the Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk, where over 65 employees and family members participated.

Throughout the month of October, information tables will be at our Imaging Centers to support breast cancer awareness. Information from the American Cancer Society is available along with other patient literature. Windsong Radiology Group is also working with Partners for Prevention to increase access for those women who may not have the opportunity for yearly mammograms.

Nationwide, access to mammography is declining; mammography centers are closing. Windsong Radiology Group remains committed to excellence in women’s breast screening by offering the best technology and equipment for Western New York patients.

“Where Patients Come First” Throughout the 20 years of service to WNY community, Dr. Sung and the entire team of radiologists, technologists and staff have remained focused on that goal. The Windsong Radiology Group is proud to provide a full range of diagnostic imaging services, including Mammography, Ultrasound, Bone Density, X-Ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Western New York’s first PET/CT scanner for cancer imaging.
