The Dr. Janet H. Sung Women's Imaging Center at Windsong is Now Open

The ceremonial ribbon was cut on Monday, December 21, 2009 for the all new Dr. Janet. H. Sung Women’s Imaging Center at Windsong.  The beautiful new space is located on the 2nd floor of the Windsong Medical Park at 55 Spindrift Drive in Williamsville.  The services available at the new imaging center are diagnostic and screening digital mammography, breast biopsies, ultrasound, and DEXA Bone Densitometry.  These services were previously available on the main floor of Windsong Radiology Group, which is currently being renovated for X-Ray, MRI, CT, PET/CT, and Nuclear Medicine studies.

The Dr. Janet H. Sung Women’s Imaging Center at Windsong offers more comfort, privacy, and greater efficiencies for our physicians, technologists, and support staff.  What there should less be of is ambient noise, anxiety, and waiting.  Our patients are greeted by a relaxing and very tastefully decorated environment that will give the feeling of a spa-type setting.  Patients will be able to enjoy the warmth of one of our fireplaces while watching a large screen television or find a quiet environment to enjoy a book or magazine.

The legacy continues at the Dr. Janet H. Sung Women’s Imaging Center at Windsong for giving our patients their results from one of our Board Certified, Fellowship trained radiologists.  Windsong Radiology Group also offers our exclusive Breast Imaging Navigator program in which personal attention and services are given to help those women in whom additional testing and referrals are necessary when positive mammography results have been determined.
