Dr. Janet and John Sung Given Walter P. Cooke Award from UB Alumni Association

John Sung, CPA, MBA and Dr. Janet Sung received the Walter P. Cooke Award from the U.B. Alumni Association yesterday.  This award is given to non-alumni recognizing notable and meritorious contributions to the university and its family, such as contributions influencing the growth and improvement of the university and stimulating others to give their active interest and material support to UB.

Also receiving an award last night was CNN’s award–winning lead political anchor for 20 years, Wolf Blitzer who graduated from U.B. in 1970 with a B.A. degree.
