Windsong Radiology Group can offer physicians and patients in Buffalo and Western New York Cardiac CT Angiography (CCTA) with the most advanced 128 Slice CT scanner. In addition, our radiologists have extensive experience with Virtual CT Colonography in which we can take a patient that experienced a failed optical colonoscopy that same day so the patient doesn’t have to prep again.
We have built new facilities in Hamburg and Lancaster, and we have redesigned our flagship office in Williamsville to provide the maximum in comfort and efficiency. In addition, we have a 3T MRI, the most advanced CT scans, nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and a dedicated women’s imaging center named for our founder Dr. Janet Sung. The Janet H. Sung Women’s Imaging Suite at Windsong combines the most advanced technology such as Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3-D Mammography), breast biopsies, breast MRI, and the most advanced ultrasound equipment supported by technologists that are American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certified and trained to a very high level. The Janet H. Sung Women’s Imaging Suite at Windsong is an integral component of Windsong Comprehensive Breast Care providing breast imaging services and patient support functions with our Certified Breast Imaging Patient Navigators.
Windsong Radiology Group is the first imaging facility in Western New York to have 3T Prostate MRI available as well as MRI-guided prostate biopsies. Dr. Janet Sung, founder of Windsong Radiology, also pioneered the Stereotactic Breast Biopsy here in Western New York. Windsong’s 3T MRI and our 1.5T wide open bore MRI are also used for MR Angiography with an emphasis on neuroradiology. Windsong Radiology Group is also the premier imaging center in the Buffalo Area for 3T MRI imaging for sports medicine and orthopedic injuries offering arthrograms.
