The Dr. Janet H. Sung Women’s Imaging Suite opened in January 2010 at Windsong Medical Park on 55 Spindrift Drive in Williamsville. The completely redesigned space on the second floor has a soothing spa-like feel and decor that you will find relaxing and comforting. Dr. Janet Sung and her Women’s Imaging Radiologist colleagues at Windsong along with our dedicated mammography and ultrasound technologists collaborated with a world class group of architects and designers to create a beautiful space that offers the maximum in patient comfort and privacy. One of the added benefits of our redesigned space is that it significantly increased the efficiency of the workflow to decrease your wait and imaging time.
Windsong Radiology Group has been recognized nationally and regionally as a leader in breast imaging. All four Windsong offices (Williamsville, Lancaster, Hamburg, and Amherst) have earned the ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence accreditation. This designation signifies that Windsong Radiology Group excels in every area of breast imaging including Digital Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, and Ultrasound Guided & Stereotactic Breast Biopsy. Additionally, Windsong was one of the first imaging centers in the United States to be given the ACR accreditation for Breast MRI. Dr. Janet Sung and her team at Windsong pioneered Stereotactic Breast Biopsy in Western New York and is presently pioneering the next generation of digital mammography with Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) or 3D Mammography currently available at our Williamsville office.
