Trusted vein care expert, Dr. Dana Dunleavy, is featured in the Windsong Vein Care commercial that launched in May 2018 to help educate the community about the life changing vein treatment being offered at Windsong’s Williamsville location.

This Spring eighteen local women assisted with Windsong’s latest breast cancer screening commercial with the goal of sharing the message that early detection saves lives. See these beautiful women who donated their time to make a difference in this unique, eye catching black and white commercial.

Windsong’s Fight for Air Climb Team was at Seneca One Tower on March 10th completing the 2018 Fight for Air Climb to support the American Lung Association!
The team consisted of 16 team members. As a group they were able to raise and donate $1,049.

WILLIAMSVILLE – February 8, 2018 – Windsong Radiology Group’s mobile mammography is now driving early detection throughout Western New York. As a provider of mobile breast cancer screening, Windsong now has the ability to eliminate barriers to breast cancer screening in communities with limited or no access to breast cancer screening. Williamsville, January 31, 2018 — Dr. Cynthia Fan will present the findings from a retrospective study conducted by Windsong Radiology Group and Windsong Breast Care at the 28 th Annual Interdisciplinary Breast Center (NCBC) Conference this March. The study shows that 3D tomosynthesis (3D mammomgraphy) detects smaller cancers, and more cancers with architecture distortions, which can be very difficult to see in 2D digital mammography (Mammo) only. Corresponding author, Cynthia Fan, MD, PhD said, “This project was designed to demonstrate how tomosynthesis (tomo) assists with tumor detection, whether through smaller tumor size or any particular imaging characters. Dr. Dana Dunleavy, Director of Windsong Vein Care at Windsong’s Williamsville location, treats patients with the image-guided minimally invasive VenaSeal Closure system. According to Dr. Dunleavy this treatment is a big improvement in endovascular vein treatment because it is more comfortable, better tolerated, and offers rapid recovery times with no activity restrictions. A great big thank you to all who participated in this year’s Komen Race for the Cure. Participants ranged from Windsong volunteered, walked, ran, and donated. We had the largest team with 169 participants. Collectively the Windsong Breast Care team raised over $5000 this year. Many thanks to all who joined us this year. See you next year!
